Scheepjes Stone Washed is a high-quality cotton-acrylic blend in the Sport weight class, which feels silky soft despite its robust name. The characteristic stonewashed appearance is created by combining ecru cotton with colourful and fluffy acrylic fibres. The yarn is composed of a mix of 78% cotton and 22% acrylic, which gives it the breathable quality of cotton, but is strong and easy to care for thanks to the acrylic. This combination makes Scheepjes Stone Washed ideal for a wide variety of knitting and crochet projects and also suitable for every season. The yarn is available in an extensive colour palette, ranging from soft pastel and earth tones to bright colours. The recommended needle size is 3.00-3.50mm. A ball of Scheepjes Stone Washed weighs 50 grams and has a length of 130 metres. Supplied per 10 balls.

Scheepjes Stone Washed XL is a thicker yarn (Aran weight) with the same striking look as Stone Washed, but made from a mix of 70% cotton and 30% acrylic. Scheepjes Stone Washed and Scheepjes Stone Washed XL are perfect to combine with Scheepjes River Washed and River Washed XL respectively: they have a matching yarn weight with the same fiber content, but are available in even more colors.
